Whether you enjoy crafting already or are simply looking to try something new, this workshop offers a chance to slow down, explore your imagination, and enjoy the process of creating something meaningful.
About the workshop
This month’s Heroes Coffee Club invites you to get creative at our Threads & Treasures: Creating Art from Fabric Scraps workshop.
During this relaxed and welcoming session, you will explore the world of textile art by transforming colourful fabric scraps, textures, patterns and decorative materials into your own unique artwork or collage. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different fabrics and techniques, layer materials, and create a piece that reflects your own style and creativity.
The workshop will be facilitated in a supportive and encouraging environment, with guidance available throughout the session. Whether you have experience with textile crafts or are completely new to working with fabrics, you’ll be encouraged to explore, experiment, and enjoy the creative journey.
No previous crafting experience is needed — the focus is on having fun, expressing yourself, and creating something unique to take home.
A welcoming space to connect
The Heroes Coffee Club is a monthly series of relaxed gatherings held in our community space at Heroes Haven on Green Lanes.
These sessions are designed to bring people together in a warm, friendly and supportive environment. They offer an opportunity to meet others, enjoy conversations, try creative activities, or simply take some time for yourself in the company of people who understand.
Complimentary barista-made drinks and pastries will be available throughout the session, helping create a welcoming atmosphere where people can relax and connect.
