About The Heroes Virtual Coffee Club

Our Virtual Coffee Club is a free monthly online gathering, a safe and welcoming space to connect, share and feel supported by others. Open to anyone affected by any type of cancer, we welcome people who have been recently diagnosed, those currently going through treatment, people adjusting to life after treatment, and family members and carers looking for support — as well as anyone else who may benefit from being part of our community.

The sessions are led by our amazing volunteers, Sam and Louise, who first joined the group as participants while going through their own cancer journeys and now lead the sessions themselves. The atmosphere is positive, empowering and uplifting, with an emphasis on sharing useful tips, offering support, signposting to other services where needed, and creating a space where you can talk openly about any concerns or challenges.
