Navigating life after cancer treatment, together
Life after cancer treatment can bring new challenges. Physical changes, ongoing side effects and continued therapies can all affect how you feel and manage everyday life. Finding the right support and connecting with people who understand can make things feel a little easier.
Our Virtual Coffee Club is a chance to take a breather, share experiences and chat with others who may be going through something similar. Whether you’re looking for advice, a listening ear or simply a space where you feel understood, you’re welcome.
About this session
This session will focus on life after cancer treatment, including physical changes, the ongoing effects of treatment and the support available to help manage them. It’s an opportunity to talk openly, share experiences and learn from one another in a relaxed, informal setting.
There’s no pressure to speak or stick to a set topic. We’ll use the theme to guide the conversation, but you’re free to talk about whatever matters to you. After the session, we also hope to share a practical guide featuring charities, services and organisations that can offer further advice and support.
A welcoming space to connect
The Heroes Virtual Coffee Club brings people affected by cancer together for friendly, supportive online conversations. It’s a chance to meet others, exchange experiences and talk about the things that matter to you, without any pressure or expectations.
You can join the conversation, ask questions, listen or simply enjoy being part of a community where you feel understood. However you choose to take part, you’ll be welcomed just as you are.
Who is this for?
Our Virtual Coffee Club is open to anyone affected by cancer, of any cancer type, anywhere in the UK, and welcomes people of all genders.
Whether you’re finishing treatment, adjusting to life beyond cancer, managing ongoing side effects or receiving continued therapies, you’re welcome to join. You don’t need to have all the answers or even know what you want to talk about. Just come along as you are.
