About the workshop
This month’s Heroes Coffee Club invites you to get creative with our rustic Advent calendar making workshop.
During this relaxed and welcoming session, you’ll create your own hanging Advent calendar using natural twigs as the base. Inspired by rustic, nature-led Christmas decorations, you’ll have the opportunity to transform simple materials into something unique to decorate your home and enjoy throughout December.
You’ll be encouraged to personalise your creation with your own decorative touches, creating an Advent calendar that reflects your individual style. Whether you prefer a simple, natural look or something a little more festive, you can make your creation as unique as you are.
The workshop will take place in a supportive and encouraging environment, with guidance available throughout the session. No previous crafting experience is needed. Simply come along, enjoy the process and create something special to take home.
A welcoming space to connect
The Heroes Coffee Club is a monthly series of relaxed gatherings held in our community space at Heroes Haven on Green Lanes.
These sessions are designed to bring people together in a warm, friendly and supportive environment. They offer an opportunity to meet others, enjoy conversations, try creative activities or simply take some time for yourself in the company of people who understand.
Complimentary barista-made drinks and pastries will be available throughout the session, helping create a welcoming atmosphere where people can relax and connect.

Our Coffee Club events are open to anyone affected by cancer, wherever they are in their journey. We welcome people of all genders and living with any type of cancer.
Whether you are currently undergoing treatment, living with or beyond cancer, supporting a loved one, or looking to connect with others who understand, you will receive a warm welcome at Heroes Haven.
