Support Cancer Research & Save the Planet

Do you have any old, unwanted bras lurking at the back of your drawer? Now’s your chance to put them to good use.

At our Heroes Haven boutique on Green Lanes, we’re collecting unloved bras in support of Against Breast Cancer – a charity funding pioneering research into breast cancer detection, prevention, and treatment.

By donating your bras, you’ll be helping in two ways:

• Raising vital funds – Against Breast Cancer receives £700 for every tonne of bras collected, thanks to their recycling partners.

• Reducing waste – This textile recovery project stops millions of bras from ending up in UK landfill sites.

The money raised supports groundbreaking research aimed at preventing the secondary spread of breast cancer – the main cause of breast cancer-related deaths. Scientists at leading academic institutions, including the University of Southampton, University of Oxford, and Barts Cancer Institute in London, are working on innovative projects to reduce risk, improve early diagnosis, and develop more effective treatments.

How to get involved:
Simply bring your unwanted bras to The Heroes Haven on Green Lanes, and drop them in our collection bin. Every bra counts – for the environment and for life-saving research.
