Creative activities also provide a gentle way to connect with others, share experiences, and feel part of a supportive community. Whether you enjoy crafting already or are simply looking to try something new, this workshop offers a chance to slow down, be present, and enjoy the process.
About the workshop
This month’s Heroes Coffee Club invites you to get creative at our From Petals to Crowns: Flower Crown Making Workshop.
During this relaxed and welcoming session, you will create your own flower crown using seasonal blooms, foliage and decorative materials. The workshop will be facilitated by Selma, who has extensive experience running creative and supportive group sessions. She will guide you through the process, share her expertise, and encourage you to explore your own creativity.
No previous crafting experience is needed — the focus is on enjoying the activity, having fun, and creating something unique to take home.
A welcoming space to connect
The Heroes Coffee Club is a monthly series of relaxed gatherings held in our community space at Heroes Haven on Green Lanes.
These sessions are designed to bring people together in a warm, friendly and supportive environment. They offer an opportunity to meet others, enjoy conversations, try creative activities, or simply take some time for yourself in the company of people who understand.
Complimentary barista-made drinks and pastries will be available throughout the session, helping create a welcoming atmosphere where people can relax and connect.

Our Coffee Club events are open to anyone affected by cancer, wherever they are in their journey.
Whether you are currently undergoing treatment, living with or beyond cancer, supporting a loved one, or looking to connect with others who understand, you will receive a warm welcome at Heroes Haven.
